Rapid Response Night Care Worker - Excellent Rates of Pay
We are looking for enthusiastic, flexible, and reliable individuals to join our stand-by Rapid Response Night Sitting Service for Norfolk.
Your base is your own home, and you are available to be deployed between 9pm – 7am, you will only leave your home when you get a call out. Sometimes you don’t get a call out all night!
As this service covers the whole of Norfolk you could be called to attend night sit visits anywhere in Norfolk, but don’t worry all your mileage will be paid @ 42p per mile.
It will be a 10 hour shift starting at 9pm and finishing at 7am on call from your own home.
You would be responsible for working directly with customers to provide a skilled and sensitive service to include personal assistance, emotional and physical care and maintaining and promoting independence.
The visits are varied, and no two days will be the same. Your duties will include:
Responsibilities will include:
- Personal care, which includes washing, dressing, eating and assisting with personal hygiene, meal preparation.
- Administration of medication and other more complex interventions, depending on the level of your training and the customer’s needs.
- Completion of customer care logs.

You must have:
- A minimum 1 year’s care experience within the community or care home setting
- Full driving licence and own transport with Business insurance
- Flexibility and adaptability to visit customers in a wide geographical area
HOME SUPPORT MATTERS DOES NOT HOLD A SPONSORSHIP LICENCE
It is essential that you have previous experience in the Care industry, and you are a driver with clean UK driving licence.

Salary: *We can offer weekday rate of £12.50 an hour and £14.00 on weekends with an increased rate for Bank Holidays
